Marie Kondo 近藤麻理恵

Marie Kondo  is a cleaning consultant and creator of the highly popular website "Lessons on Organization and Storage for Women." In her successful career as a professional cleaner she has turned rooms that are so cluttered you can't even see the floor into rooms that feel like a hotel suite, and persuaded her fans to get rid of over a million unnecessary items. In her early childhood she took to reading homemaking magazines. She genuinely loved vacuuming, cleaning, cooking, and sewing, and she lived like a dedicated homemaker throughout her school years. When she was in the ninth grade, inspired by a best-selling book called Throw-Out Skills, she formally began her study of the art of cleaning. In her second year of college she established her consulting business and began to devote her life to what would become known as the KonMari Method for organizing and storing. "Once you learn it, you'll never have a messy room again" was the slogan that got her noticed, and her popularity soon spread by word of mouth.
